Hartfield Academy got themselves on the board against St. Joseph Catholic on Monday, but St. Joseph Catholic never followed suit. They put the hurt on the St. Joseph Catholic Bruins with a sharp 15-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Hawks, who have now won nine matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Ana Campbell Singletary made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Singletary was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Carson Smith and Addyson "Roo" Roberts did most of the damage at the plate: Smith scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2, while Roberts scored three runs while going 3-for-4. Hartfield Academy is on the road again on Thursday to play Oak Forest Academy at 6:15 p.m. As for St. Joseph Catholic, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Central Holmes Christian at 4:00 p.m. on September 26th.
