Basketball Game Preview: Drexel Bobcats vs. Appleton City Bulldogs

The Drexel Bobcats will square off against the Appleton City Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.

It was a proper cat-fight when Drexel faced off against Kingsville on Friday. Drexel took a 60-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Kingsville. The Bobcats haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Meanwhile, Appleton City had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They took down the Vikings 56-41.

Drexel's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 8-3. As for Appleton City, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Drexel beat Appleton City 50-37 in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. Will Drexel repeat their success, or does Appleton City have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
