Basketball Recap: West Lutheran Comes Up Short

West Lutheran lost against Heritage Christian Academy back in March of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The West Lutheran Warriors received a blow as they fell 70-53 to the Heritage Christian Academy Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 361st, while the Eagles are ranked 110th).

West Lutheran has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Heritage Christian Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-3.

West Lutheran has already played their next match (against Heritage Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Heritage Christian Academy will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Twin Cities Academy/Great River at 7:00 p.m. on February 13th.
