Baseball Recap: Lamar County Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Lamar County never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They blew past the Berry Wildcats 11-0. The victory was familiar territory for the Bulldogs, who have now won four games in a row.

Berry's batters probably weren't too happy with CJ Colburn, who pitched a no hitter and racked up eight Ks (he gave up three walks).

On the hitting side, Lamar County got a massive performance out of Brooks Brown, who went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Those three hits gave Brown a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Brax Johnson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, one run, and one double.

Lamar County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .529. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Lamar County now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Berry, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.
