Volleyball Recap: Regent Prep Comes Up Short

Regent Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Rejoice Christian Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Rejoice Christian this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 two weeks ago.

Regent Prep's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Rejoice Christian, they pushed their record up to 7-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Regent Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Southwest Covenant on the 6th. As for Rejoice Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Holland Hall on the 6th.
