North Cobb extended their winning streak to four on Saturday, bumping them up to 4-0. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the St. Pius X Catholic Golden Lions. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Keagan Ruffus paced North Cobb's offense, picking up eight kills. Ruffus got some help from Ashley Hendershot and her 21 assists. Mia Goldbach and Hannah Nicholson kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Having lost for the first time this season, St. Pius X Catholic fell to 3-1. The loss put an end to their undefeated start to the season.

When it comes to explaining why St. Pius X Catholic lost, don't look at Sofia Ziran. Despite the final result, she had 11 digs and two aces. Ziran has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times she's played.

North Cobb didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 win against North Paulding on the 12th. As for St. Pius X Catholic, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Greater Atlanta Christian on the 12th.
