Baseball Recap: Greenwood Comes Up Short

Greenwood lost against Susquenita back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Wildcats lost 16-5 to the Blackhawks. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Michael Hoy made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. Bronson Moyer also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Greenwood's record now sits at 2-7. As for Susquenita, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Greenwood is set to take on their familiar foe Upper Dauphin Area at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Susquenita will face off against rival Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
