Norwayne gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Orrville Red Riders as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Bobcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Red Riders, too.

Norwayne was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-21, 25-20.

Ava Maibach paced Norwayne's offense, picking up nine kills. Maibach got some help from CJ Moore and her 21 assists. Moore also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Cherish Bell, racking up three apiece.

Norwayne has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Triway on the 21st. As for Orrville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against St. Vincent-St. Mary on the 21st.
