Softball Recap: Lake Mary Takes a Loss

Lake Mary was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They lost 12-5 to the Lake Howell Silverhawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Silverhawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-1 back in March.

Lake Mary saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gabby Reyes, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Lake Mary's record now sits at 2-15. As for Lake Howell, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, Lake Mary and Lake Howell will both be playing Oviedo the next time they take the field. The Silverhawks will host the Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Rams will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
