Volleyball Game Preview: Bradley-Bourbonnais Boilermakers vs. Sandburg Eagles

Bradley-Bourbonnais is 0-6 against Sandburg since September of 2019 but things could change on Thursday. The Boilermakers will look to defend their home court against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, Bradley-Bourbonnais came up short against Homewood-Flossmoor and fell 2-0.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-21.

Despite the loss, Bradley-Bourbonnais had strong showings from Lydia Hammond, who had 11 digs and one assist, and Morgan Curtis, who had four digs.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Sandburg, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against Lincoln-Way Central by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday.

The win didn't come easy: Lincoln-Way Central scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-21.

Bradley-Bourbonnais' defeat dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Sandburg, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 7-18.
