Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Notre Dame Prep). Everything went their way against the Bullard-Havens Tigers on Thursday as they made off with a 21-5 win. The victory continues a trend for the Lancers in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won five in a row.

The team relied heavily on Robbie Van Scoy, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and three runs. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Jake Lippert was another key player, scoring three runs while going 3-for-3.

Notre Dame Prep always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .725. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Notre Dame Prep's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Bullard-Havens, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
