Norton Science & Language Academy has gone 3-0 against The Grove School recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Having just played yesterday, the Norton Science & Language Academy Rockets will head out on the road to face off against The Grove School Ravens at 4:30 p.m. Norton Science & Language Academy has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 12.

Norton Science & Language Academy is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Hesperia Christian on Monday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Norton Science & Language Academy was beaten by Hesperia Christian 60-29. The Rockets were down 52-21 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Despite the defeat, Norton Science & Language Academy had strong showings from Richard Pelayo, who posted nine points, and Ayden Alba, who scored eight points.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask The Grove School). They blew past Loara 78-46 on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Ravens considering their 26-point performance the contest before.

With the victory, The Grove School broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-8. As for Norton Science & Language Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-11.

Norton Science & Language Academy was able to grind out a solid win over The Grove School in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, winning 44-37. The rematch might be a little tougher for Norton Science & Language Academy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
