Football Recap: Oak Grove Piles Up the Points Against Pleasant Grove + How To Watch

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Oak Grove). They blew past the Pleasant Grove Spartans 46-13 on Friday. Fans of the Tigers have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Wiley Hicks and Brooks Covin. Hicks rushed for 206 yards and three scores while picking up 12.9 yards per carry while Covin rushed for 123 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries. With that strong performance, Hicks is now averaging an impressive 106.2 rushing yards per game.

Oak Grove was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 515 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
