Basketball Recap: Springdale Prep Wins Going Away Against Prince George's Christian Academy Blue

Springdale Prep won the last time they faced Prince George's Christian Academy Blue and things went their way on Thursday too. The Springdale Prep Lions put the hurt on the Prince George's Christian Academy Blue Flyers with a sharp 86-66 win. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 20 points or more this season.

Springdale Prep had a senior duo take command as Elijah Mobley went 10 of 15 en route to 30 points and Kisean Robinson went 10 for 16 on his way to 21 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Mobley has scored all season. Amonte Johnson was another key player, putting up seven points and seven assists.

Carter has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 11 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kevin Jackson, who posted six points and ten assists.

The victory made it two in a row for Springdale Prep and bumps their season record up to 22-6. As for Prince George's Christian Academy Blue, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 16-7 record this season.
