Last Tuesday, Randolph-Henry escaped with a win against Lunenburg Central by the margin of a single free throw, 42-41. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Randolph-Henry.
Prince Edward County suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Wednesday. They were outmatched by Heritage on the road and fell 74-25. Prince Edward County has struggled against Heritage recently, as their game on Wednesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
The win got Randolph-Henry back to even at 6-6. As for Prince Edward County, their loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-12.
Randolph-Henry barely slipped by Prince Edward County in their previous matchup on January 3rd, winning 52-51. The rematch might be a little tougher for Randolph-Henry since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
