Football Recap: Mastery Takes a Loss

Mastery is still winless after their game against Wildwood on Saturday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 21-18 heartbreaker at the hands of the Warriors. The Warrior were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Mastery's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Wildwood, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-3.

Looking ahead, Mastery is taking a road trip to challenge Haddon Township at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Warrior will be up against the Hawks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 36.25 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Wildwood, they will be playing at home against KIPP Cooper Norcross on Friday.
