Soccer Recap: West Jefferson vs. Northridge
West Jefferson lost against Northridge back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The West Jefferson Roughriders lost 9-1 to the Northridge Vikings. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Roughriders were already down 3-0.
This is the second loss in a row for West Jefferson and nudges their season record down to 1-2. As for Northridge, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.
West Jefferson will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Greeneview at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northridge, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-2 draw vs. Mt. Vernon on the 11th.
