Waterford and Caldwell are an even 4-4 against one another since December of 2018, but not for long. The Waterford Wildcats will challenge the Caldwell Redskins at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Waterford will be strutting in after a win while Caldwell will be coming in after a defeat.

Waterford will bounce into Wednesday's game after beating Federal Hocking, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Waterford snuck past Federal Hocking with a 50-46 victory on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Meanwhile, Caldwell had to suffer through a 62-35 loss at the hands of Toronto.

The win got Waterford back to even at 9-9. As for Caldwell, their loss dropped their record down to 16-4.

Waterford and Caldwell were neck-and-neck when the teams last played back in January of 2024, but Waterford came up empty-handed after a 46-45 defeat. Can Waterford avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
