Winning always takes teamwork, but on Tuesday Jack Lonergan stepped things up a notch to give York the 'W'. Lonergan wasn't messing around, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up five earned runs off seven hits (and only one walk). The pitching appearance was his fifth straight with two or fewer walks.

Lonergan's strong effort led York over Hinsdale Central and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
