Leipsic came tearing into Monday's matchup with eight straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the New Knoxville Rangers with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Vikings were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Rangers, so the Vikings were just returning the favor.

The win didn't come easy: New Knoxville scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 29-27, 25-22.

Danaysia Danzy paced Leipsic's offense, picking up 18 kills. Danzy got some help from Karmyn Brough and her 22 assists. Brough was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Leipsic's victory bumped their record up to 23-1. As for New Knoxville, they dropped their record down to 10-14 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Leipsic didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Hardin Northern on the 22nd. New Knoxville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
