Basketball Recap: Richards Takes a Loss

Richards was the 39-35 winner over Reavis when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Richards Bulldogs were just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 58-57 to the Reavis Rams. The Bulldogs just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Richards' record is now 6-16. As for Reavis, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-15.

Richards and Reavis could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. Richards (ranked 506th) will meet Oak Lawn (ranked 170th) at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Reavis will challenge Shepard at 5:00 p.m. on Friday down 277 places (507 vs. 230).
