Basketball Recap: Mount Dora Christian Academy Skates Past St. John Lutheran with Ease

Mount Dora Christian Academy won the last time they faced St. John Lutheran and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bulldogs took their contest with ease, bagging an 80-19 victory over the Saints. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

DeAndre' Curate was nothing short of spectacular: he went 9-for-14 en route to 25 points and four steals. Drew Stratford was another key player, shooting 60% from the field to rack up 15 points along with six rebounds and four steals.

Mount Dora Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for St. John Lutheran, their defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. As for St. John Lutheran, they will welcome Redeemer Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Saints will be up against the Lions' rather soft defense (which has allowed 61.5 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
