After a string of three wins, Port Allegany's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Otto-Eldred Terrors by a score of 8-7. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Terrors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-1 back in April.

Gianna Glasgow and Brynn Evens stepped up to the plate in a big way. Glasgow went 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one double, while Evens went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Alayna McKervey, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Port Allegany's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Otto-Eldred, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.
