Basketball Recap: Crescent City Has No Trouble Against Halifax Academy

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Interlachen, Crescent City was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 56-42 victory over the Halifax Academy Knights. That looming 56-42 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Raiders yet this season.

With the win, Crescent City broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-9. As for Halifax Academy, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-5.

Crescent City has already played their next match, a 66-61 loss against Taylor on the 22nd. As for Halifax Academy, they will head out to square off against Cocoa Beach at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Cocoa Beach will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Halifax Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
