Softball Recap: Deer Lakes Lancers vs. Southmoreland Scotties
Deer Lakes lost to Southmoreland on Thursday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Lancers had just enough and edged out the Scotties 6-5.

Laney Dineff was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those four runs gave her a new career-high.
