Riverside is 9-1 against Stone Bridge since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Ram will be playing at home against the Bulldogs at 7:15 p.m. The two teams each escaped with close wins against their previous opponents.

Stone Bridge will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Riverside extended their winning streak to five on Monday. The Ram never let Independence get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Riverside's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 11th, while Independence are ranked 95th).

Meanwhile, Stone Bridge's game on Monday was all tied up 2-2 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They won by a goal and slipped past Potomac Falls 5-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for Stone Bridge.

Riverside pushed their record up to 14-0-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 32 goals over those seven matchups. As for Stone Bridge, their win bumped their record up to 8-4-2.

Everything went Riverside's way against Stone Bridge when the teams last played two weeks ago, as Riverside made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Ram repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
