Josiah Payton Game Report: vs Bishop Kenny

On Thursday, Josiah Payton posted his first game with 100+ receiving yards. He picked up 149 receiving yards as Providence School fell to Bishop Kenny 42-10. That new high-mark topped his previous career-best: 31 receiving yards, set on Friday.

Payton and Providence School will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Trinity Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th. The Stallions will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 198 places lower in Florida), but they're not letting that get them down.
