Volleyball Recap: Taylor Rose and Suzy Moore Secure Win for Cascade

After losing to Parke Heritage the last time they met, Cascade decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Cadets walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Wolves on Wednesday.

Cascade got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 21-25, 25-22, 31-29.

Cascade was led to victory by Suzy Moore and Taylor Rose. Moore had 11 digs and two aces, while Rose had ten digs. Moore is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

They weren't the only good server: Cascade was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in three consecutive contests.

Despite the loss, Parke Heritage still got an impressive performance from Addison Ramsay, who had 24 digs and one assist. The team also got some help courtesy of Kendall Mckinney, who had ten digs.

Cascade is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Parke Heritage, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Cascade didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Frankfort on the 11th. As for Parke Heritage, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against North Putnam on the 11th.
