Baseball Recap: Sullivan County Comes Up Short

Sullivan County lost against Northwest Area back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Griffins lost 11-3 to the Rangers. The Griffins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tucker Blasi made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and two RBI.

Sullivan County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Northwest Area, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-2.

Sullivan County has already played their next match (against Sayre), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Northwest Area, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 14-2 victory against Columbia Montour Vo-Tech on the 4th.
