            Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy walked away with it. They came out on top against the Archbishop McNicholas Rockets by a score of  7-3  on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played  back in May of 2015.

 Kylene Werner spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered  just two earned  (and one unearned) runs on ten hits and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Emily Lang was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with one  home run and two  RBI.  Cecilia Wissman was another key player,  going 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases and one  run.
With the  win, Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-11. As for Archbishop McNicholas, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record  this season.
 Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy will take on Kenton Ridge in a tournament  on Friday. The Cougars will roll in looking for their  28th straight  victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. As for Archbishop McNicholas, they have already played their next contest,  a  12-11  win against Batavia on the 21st.
