Soccer Recap: Windsor Forest Takes a Loss

After flying high against Liberty County last Thursday, Windsor Forest came back down to earth. Windsor Forest came up short against the Islands Sharks on Tuesday, falling 10-0. The loss continues a trend for Windsor Forest in their meetings with Islands: they've now lost five in a row.

Windsor Forest's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Islands, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Windsor Forest will face off against Jenkins at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Islands, they will challenge Calvary Day at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Calvary Day will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Islands surely won't give up without a fight.
