Football Recap: Nelson County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three contests, Nelson County finally came back down to earth on Friday. They had to suffer through a 35-7 loss at the hands of the Bardstown Tigers. The loss was the Cardinals' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Nelson County fell to 3-1. As for Bardstown, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nelson County will venture away from home to take on Elizabethtown at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give the Cardinals their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Bardstown, they will take on Owensboro Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
