Basketball Game Preview: Flagler Palm Coast Bulldogs vs. Palatka Panthers

The Flagler Palm Coast Bulldogs will be taking part in a tournament against the Palatka Panthers on Friday. Flagler Palm Coast is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.5 points per game this season.

Flagler Palm Coast saw some tournament action on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Rockledge 54-17. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Flagler Palm Coast found their leader in sophomore Kierra Clark, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten steals. Those ten steals set a new season-high mark for Clark. Another player making a difference was Ava Works, who posted ten points in addition to six rebounds and three steals.

Meanwhile, Palatka played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Tocoi Creek and fell 75-29. The Panthers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 61-14.

Flagler Palm Coast's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Palatka, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

Everything came up roses for Flagler Palm Coast against Palatka in their previous meeting back in January of 2019, as the team secured a 53-18 win. Does Flagler Palm Coast have another victory up their sleeve, or will Palatka turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
