Eastwood entered their tilt with Lake on Friday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They came out on top against the Flyers by a score of 6-2. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Flyers back in April, they had to take a 14-3 loss.

MacKenzie Hady made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 15 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jenna Lubash, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and one double. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Addison Bowe, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

Eastwood's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Lake, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-2.
