Football Game Preview: Heritage Pride vs. Tuscarora Huskies + How To Watch

Heritage hasn't had much luck against Tuscarora recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Pride will square off against the Huskies at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

As a matter of fact, Heritage put up the most points they have all season on Friday. They claimed a resounding 49-10 victory over Dominion. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Pride's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia football rankings (they are ranked 132nd, while the Titans are ranked 271st).

Meanwhile, Tuscarora got the win against Rock Ridge on Friday by a conclusive 31-7. The win continues a trend for the Huskies in their matchups with the Phoenix: they've now won seven in a row.

Heritage better focus on containing Peter Laiti and Colton Haldeman as the pair were huge in Tuscarora's win. Laiti threw for 126 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while Haldeman rushed for 118 yards. Laiti also put up 53 rushing yards, which were his first of the season.

Tuscarora now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Heritage, they now also have a winning record of 4-3.

Heritage took a serious blow against Tuscarora in their previous meeting back in August of 2024, falling 42-7. Can the Pride avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
