Basketball Recap: St. Peter Takes a Loss

St. Peter was the 73-72 winner over New Ulm when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The St. Peter Saints came up short against the New Ulm Eagles on Friday, falling 73-47. The Saints have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Peter's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for New Ulm, they pushed their record up to 12-8 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Peter will head out to challenge Mankato East at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for New Ulm, they will head out on the road to take on Jordan at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
