Basketball Recap: Jefferson County Takes a Loss

Jefferson County was the 67-54 winner over Community Christian when they last played one another back in January of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Jefferson County Tigers took a hard 58-39 fall against the Community Christian Chargers on Friday. The Tigers' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Jefferson County's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Community Christian, their victory ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-10.

Jefferson County has already played their next game (against Bell), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Community Christian will take on Community Leadership Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
