Football Recap: Calistoga Comes Up Short

Calistoga was the 42-16 winner over Tomales when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats took a hard 51-36 fall against the Braves on Friday. Wildcats fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Braves since Friday.

Calistoga now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Tomales, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Calistoga will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Potter Valley at 6:00 p.m. on October 17. As for Tomales, they will face off against Elsie Allen at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
