Morton/White Pass saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bria Elkins, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. That stolen base was Elkins' first of the season.

Toutle Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Morton/White Pass, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.

Morton/White Pass' pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Toutle Lake has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 8.7 hits per game. It's a different story for Morton/White Pass, though, as they've been averaging 11.3 hits. Given Toutle Lake's sizable advantage in that area, the Timberwolves will need to find a way to close that gap.

Toutle Lake took their victory against Morton/White Pass in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 14-3 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Ducks since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
