Soccer Game Preview: Hewitt-Trussville vs. Vestavia Hills

Hewitt-Trussville is 0-10 against Vestavia Hills since April of 2018 but things could change on Tuesday. The Huskies will welcome the Rebels at 6:30 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Hewitt-Trussville is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Alabama's top teams: Hoover, who was ranked sixth at the time (Hewitt-Trussville was ranked fourth). The Huskies fell just short of the Buccaneers by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. Considering the last time Hewitt-Trussville couldn't score was back in February, the team can't take the result too hard.

Meanwhile, Vestavia Hills hasn't lost a match since February 6th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Thursday. They and Montgomery Academy finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw. Vestavia Hills' loss signaled the end of their undefeated season.

With that draw, Vestavia Hills' record moves to 15-1-3. As for Hewitt-Trussville, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4-1.
