Baseball Recap: Pajaro Valley Takes a Loss

Pajaro Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the King City Mustangs, falling 16-3. One positive for the Grizzlies, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Pajaro Valley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Steve Martinez, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI.

Pajaro Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for King City, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-10.

While Pajaro Valley had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
