Desert Edge is a perfect 5-0 against Glendale since April of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Scorpions will venture away from home to face off against the Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. Glendale took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Desert Edge, who comes in off a win.

Desert Edge barely beat Independence the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Scorpions were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Patriots on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Scorpions in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won six in a row.

While Desert Edge won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-22, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Glendale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Browne.

Glendale's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Desert Edge, they pushed their record up to 9-7 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Desert Edge took their victory against Glendale in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Scorpions since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
