The Deer Valley Skyhawks are taking a road trip to square off against the Poston Butte Broncos at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

Brooklyn Trejo was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single hit and allowed only one earned run while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. Trejo was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Brylee Litviak and Aliyah Madrid did most of the damage at the plate: Litviak went 3-for-4 with two triples, three runs, and four RBI, while Madrid went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Kimberly Westover was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

The victory got Poston Butte back to even at 3-3. As for Deer Valley, their record is now 7-2-1.
