Volleyball Recap: O'fallon Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

O'Fallon was the 2-1 winner over Belleville East when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lancers on Tuesday.

While O'Fallon ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-18.

O'Fallon's defeat ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 21-13. As for Belleville East, their victory was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 27-8.

O'Fallon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against East St. Louis on the 23rd. As for Belleville East, they will face off against Alton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
