Baseball Recap: Stansbury Wins Going Away Against Clearfield

Stansbury won the last time they faced Clearfield and things went their way on Monday too. Everything went the Stansbury Stallions' way against the Clearfield Falcons as the Stansbury Stallions made off with a 15-5 victory. That ten run margin sets a new team best for the Stallions this season.

Jaxon Adams was a standout: he scored three runs while going 2-for-3. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. Kai Astill was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

The win made it two in a row for Stansbury and bumps their season record up to 4-3. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Clearfield, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
