Basketball Recap: Madison Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Madison couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 64-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Silver Creek Dragons on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Cubs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 75th, while the Dragons are ranked tenth).

Madison's loss dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Silver Creek, the win was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-2.

Madison does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Silver Creek, they will face off against Scottsburg at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
