High Point Christian Academy proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by six) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a run and slipped past the Pittsford Panthers 4-3. The victory was nothing new for the Cougars as they're now sitting on five straight.

TY HAYES looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in nine consecutive appearances.

High Point Christian Academy's record now sits at 15-5. As for Pittsford, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Coming up, High Point Christian Academy will take on Aquinas Institute at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pittsford, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Chilhowie at 8:30 p.m.
