Soccer Game Preview: George Washington vs. Martinsville

The George Washington Eagles will challenge the Martinsville Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.

Last Thursday, George Washington didn't have quite enough to beat Bassett and fell 4-3. George Washington have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, neither Martinsville nor Mecklenburg County could gain the upper hand on Friday so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

With that draw, Martinsville's record moves to 1-1-2. As for George Washington, they now have a losing record of 2-3-2.

Everything went George Washington's way against Martinsville in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as George Washington made off with a 7-0 victory. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
