Soccer Recap: South Rowan Takes a Loss

South Rowan lost against Central Cabarrus back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Raiders fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 2-1. South Rowan have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Peyton Bell, who's now up to two this season.

South Rowan's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Central Cabarrus, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That somehow still isn't as good as their 8-2-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. South Rowan will square off against rival Carson at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Central Cabarrus is set to take on their familiar foe Lake Norman Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
