Basketball Game Preview: Roosevelt Rough Riders vs. Cuyahoga Falls Black Tigers

Roosevelt is 2-8 against Cuyahoga Falls since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Roosevelt Rough Riders will head out on the road to take on the Cuyahoga Falls Black Tigers at 1:00 p.m. Roosevelt will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

On Thursday, Roosevelt was able to grind out a solid win over Crestwood, taking the game 52-40.

Meanwhile, Cuyahoga Falls earned a 47-38 victory over Garfield on Saturday.

The win got Cuyahoga Falls back to even at 5-5. As for Roosevelt, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Roosevelt couldn't quite finish off Cuyahoga Falls when the teams last played back in January of 2024 and fell 42-40. Can Roosevelt avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
